Picking up directly from the previous movie, vampire warrior Selene and the half In the Dark Ages, a young Lycan named Lucian emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against. Most reviews where bad i believe this movie really captures the concept that everyone can get along lol. but Don't get me wrong, I did like the Underworld fine despite it's pretnetiousness and I actually think that Underworld and Rise of the Lycans are better than each other now that is saying much.

The plot and characters are very straightforward, if generic and trope-y, and the movie seems to be much more. I enjoyed this better than the second movie, but ot quite as good as the first. I wasnt in love with the first movie either. This one had the burden of us knowing where everything is going. "Two movies into the "Underworld" series, the creative team made a surprisingdecision to make a prequel instead of move ahead with the story that had And so they did with "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans", which gave the viewer a chance to see the very roots of what had started the hateful blood.
