The thing I like about this movie is the fact that Jason first gets his trademark hockey mask in this movie. Really, Jason looks his most villainous in this movie; none of the people he killed were anywhere near his home at Camp Crystal Lake, and in fact he deliberately wandered into their territory to just randomly kill everyone he meets. It also exploits precisely the same formula plot as its predecessors, though the gore is a bit deemphasized, with the special-effects crew concentrating on the nicely done.
